Our Hometown
The City of Troy combines the atmosphere of a
family centered “small town” with “big city” advantages,
offering excellent educational opportunities and highly
rated recreational programs for children. Located only
two hours from the Gulf of Mexico and the white sandy
beaches of northwest Florida, Troy is within easy driving
distance of Montgomery, Atlanta, Dothan, and Panama
City Beach.
The city is home to Troy University, a Division 1 NCAA
school with over 6,000 students and a beautiful 500-acre
campus. The Troy University Arboretum includes over 300 different species of trees, as well as a 3 mile nature trail that
winds along the four-acre Mullis Pond. Troy’s historic district showcases many antebellum homes and a beautifully restored
downtown square.
