Biller / Collector - BUSINESS OFFICE
Full-Time, Monday through Friday
The Biller/Collector is responsible for preparing, submitting, filing, and record keeping of insurance forms and electronic claims, and communicating with patients and insurance companies concerning insurance billings. Will be responsible for reconciling, investigating and adjusting claims/bills. Demonstrated timely follow-through is required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in health care and familiarity with electronic billing (SSI) preferred. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 and ICD-10 desirable. Must have excellent Excel and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of Medicare and/or Blue Cross payor systems and processes strongly desired.
