Guest Relations - Communications

Troy Regional Medical Center is creating a culture of remarkable people providing remarkable care. We have celebrated over 50-years as one of the community’s cornerstones. We want to enhance our visitor’s experience with TRMC and that’s why we are looking for a full time Guest Relations to meet the needs of our community, visitors and patients’ family members.

The position’s responsibility is to be the liaison to the public. The successful candidate will be the first impression of TRMC to our guests. This person clearly defines the Standards of Behavior and conveys our Mission Statement, Values and Vision with a friendly personality and high level of customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for all visitor screenings. Will direct calls to the appropriate party, department or room; conducts overhead pages with clarity and confidence; adheres to HIPAA/Privacy standards at all times with all guests and callers. Assist vendors upon arrival with proper protocols; keeps observant watch over main entrances and promptly reports real or potential security issues; directs patients and guests to their destination, answers questions accurately. Sorts and distributes mail timely and accurately; helps with mailings and special events or projects. Assists Revenue Cycle by working reports, accounts and spreadsheets as assigned.

Part Time: est of 10 to 15 hours weekly
