As a Patient Care Tech you will work under the direction of the LPN or RN as a health team member and you are responsible for various performing patient care and unit functions. You are also responsible for communicating completed tasks and changes in patient status to the nursing staff.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification preferred.
Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment and possess the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Professional, postive demeanor and excellent customer service skills also required.

The RN, under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader, is responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients and directs others (LPNs, Techs) in patient care. Delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient. Demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care. Must have demonstrated cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. Will utilize the six steps of the nursing process that includes Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Identification of Patient Outcomes, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.
Position Requirements:
Alabama RN License required.
Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
ACLS preferred.
Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment and possess the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Professional, postive demeanor and excellent customer service skills also required.
