Certified Nurse Aide/Patient Care Tech. – Senior Behavioral Care

Troy Regional Medical Center is offering promising opportunities to the right candidates interested in joining our team. We are seeking dedicated, compassionate individuals to be a part of the best place to work in Pike County.

As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will work under the direction of the LPN or RN as a health team member and you will be responsible for performing various patient care and unit functions. You will document completed tasks and changes in patient status to the nursing staff.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude with the desire to make a difference to their patients and their patients’ family members. This position will work directly with geriatric psych. patients, providing the most remarkable care possible.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification preferred.
Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment and possess the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Professional, postive demeanor and excellent customer service skills also required.

RN/LPN – 014- Senior Behavioral Care

Offering new services and creating new opportunities. Prospective candidates will be responsible for utilizing the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver remarkable care to Geriatric Psychiatric patients. You will ensure all nursing processes are followed according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. You will assist in the direct operations of the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit and in collaboration with the Emergency Department and Med/Surg Unit to assure compliance with all regulatory agencies. Position requires current Alabama RN Licensure with one to three years of previous psychiatric experience preferred, but not required. BLS certification required. The successful candidate will promote customer service initiatives and continually strive to provide remarkable service to our patients, visitors and physicians.
