Visitation Restrictions effective 08/13/2021

Out of an abundance of caution and to protect the safety and well fair of all patients, staff and visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, Troy Regional Medical Center has implemented the following restrictions:

  • Inpatient/ER Visitation will be approved in the following exceptional circumstances:
  • End of life situations.
  • Minor children must always have one parent present.
  • Special needs situations where there is a legitimate physical, mental, or developmental disability that requires the presence of a caregiver.
  • Outpatient surgery patients may appoint one primary caregiver who will remain in the same day surgery room on 2nd floor for the entirety of the stay to participate in discharge and transportation home.
  • Any other visitation will be case by case and determined by leadership based on individual circumstances.
  • Visitors/caregivers may not linger in waiting rooms or within the facility in an effort to support distancing requirements and prevent the spread of infection.
  • Vendors are not allowed in the facility unless requested by Leadership.

Patients in the ICU may have up to two visitors from the immediate family for 15 minutes at the following times: 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not leave children unattended in the hospital.

Guest trays are available at $ 6.00 per meal. Please go to the Dietary Department to make arrangements.

Due to current Covid Protocol, the Troy Regional Medical Center Dining Room is not open to the public.

Your personal minister or religious leader is welcome to visit you during your stay at Troy Regional Medical Center. If you need assistance in contacting your minister, please ask your nurse.
